This list of MLB Teams includes all 30 current teams. The list of MLB teams accounts for Major League Baseball’s most recent expansion when the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (currently the Tampa Bay Rays) began playing in the 1998 season. It also reflects the Cleveland Indian’s 2021 name change to the Guardians.
